About the role

Responsible for the planning, preparation and production of food, its delivery and resale, to ensure the smooth functioning of the kitchen and food service operations.

You will:

  • ensure appropriate quantities of food are on hand to fulfill advertised menus;
  • perform regular cost analysis of items;
  • ensure demands of the Hospitality and Conferencing business are met with appropriate staffing; and
  • participate in meetings on a regular basis.

About you

Reporting to the Catering Operations and Functions Supervisor you will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, combined with experience dealing with diverse tasks and situations requiring excellent organisational skills.

You will possess:

  • the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders ensuring quality services;
  • the ability to anticipate and prioritise work demands and the proven ability to manage several tasks simultaneously; and
  • demonstrated experience supervising catering and front of house staff.
