About the role

You will provide leadership in the development and delivery of Assessment Transformation programs and research activities within the Centre for Academic Development.

You will:

  • provide direction, organisation and coordination of strategic and operational initiatives;
  • coordinate workshops, seminars and other activities;
  • develop regular assessment targets for the transformation project;
  • coordinate and understand peer review and benchmarking practices; and
  • supervise students undertaking project courses, honours programs and research higher degrees.

About you

You will have substantial University expertise in academic capability enhancement, assessment, and educational outcomes including evidence of implementing, evaluating and reflecting on institutional-wide projects towards best practice. You will have experience with complex project management and change management to implement a student centric approach.

You will possess:

  • An exceptional teaching record;
  • significant record of achievement in the supervision of honours, masters and doctoral students;
  • a doctoral qualification;
  • a Graduate Certificate in Education (Tertiary Teaching) or equivalent; and
  • a valid working with children check.

Directions from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer require all Victorian-based Federation University workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they are an Excepted Person as defined by the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions.
