About the role
You will coordinate the selection and admission of applicants to both courses and scholarships ensuring that the selection processes are transparent and compliant with both internal and external requirements.
- coordinate scholarships program and selection;
- provide leadership to a team, focusing on enhancing the applicant experience;
- provide advice on TAC systems, policies and procedures; and
- provide advice to senior management regarding admission and scholarships statistical data

Reporting to the Associate Director, Student Administration and Deputy Registrar, you will possess extensive knowledge of selection and scholarship policies and procedures, demonstrating initiative and the ability to solve complex problems.
You will possess:
- the demonstrated ability to research, analyse and interpret information and data;
- the demonstrated ability to solve complex problems;
- exceptional planning, organisational and prioritisation skills; and
- the ability to coordinate and monitor compliance requirements.
All University positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). Please refer to the position description for WWCC requirements.
Please note, in accordance with the Federation University Australia Union Enterprise Agreement | Academic and General Staff Employees | 2019-2021, to be eligible for a Scholarly Teaching Fellow position, applicants must have at least one years’ academic appointment with Federation University Australia, excluding a person who has held a continuing academic appointment.
Directions from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer require all Victorian-based Federation University workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they are an Excepted Person as defined by the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions.
