About you

If you like a challenge and variety and the opporunity to build upon your highly developed skills and indepth knowledge of contract management then this role is for you.  We are looking for someone with experience in complex contract management across a variety of services necessary to maintain and operate a large regional university across multiple sites with a diverse range of key stakeholders.  You will apply Best Value principals to contracts and contribute to the further development of contract management and procurement policies and procedures. You will use a variety of IT programs and tools to ensure best practice record keeping, probity and be able to provide senior management with decision making advice where required. You will have the ability to work both collaboratively as well as independently. You will have interpersonal, consultation and communication skills, including the ability to develop positive and productive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. You will support senior management by producing reports and data analysis on issues of contract performance, value, expiration and the timely establishment of new contracts enabling the achievement of the university’s strategic goals and outcomes.

You will:

  • manage, the end-to-end process of tender documents;
  • ensure the efficient and effective contract management for Facilities contracts, of varying degrees of complexity;
  • review and provide strategic recommendations relating to Facilitiy Services contract management, procurement policies, procedures and processes, in conjunction with the University’s policies and procedures and best value principals; and
  • provide senior administrative support by producing reports and data analysis for Senior Facilities Services.
