About the role

The Global and Engagement portfolio leads the University’s domestic and international engagement activities, and consists of the International team, Heads of Campuses, Aboriginal Education Centre, Alumni and Advancement, the Global Professional School and the New Business Accelerator. supporting the University’s 2021-2025 Strategic Plan to deliver new products through different channels such as online learning, business to business, micro-credentials and short course offerings.

You will provide coordination and administrative support in the implementation of the New Business Accelerator organisational area. You will coordinate the implementation of a suite of programs including online learning programs, pathway programs, short courses, industry training and innovation programs. You will coordinate and assist in the development of systems, processes and documentation required for New Business Accelerator products and channels and business opportunities.

About you

Reporting to the Associate Director, New Business Accelerator, the Coordinator will work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders to support the growth of new business. You will ideally possess project management experience which, enhanced with your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enhance your ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.

You will possess excellent organisational skills, with strengths in planning and time-management, in addition to your experience with establishing and maintaining administrative procedures and systems. The appointee will also demonstrate proven experience in effectively solving problems in a timely manner and with a customer-centric approach.

You will:

  • assist with the development of the area’s strategic and operational plans and preferred business and governance model;
  • undertake business planning including development of work plans, project agreements, budgets and milestones;
  • analyse new business opportunities and support the development, preparation and submission of proposals and assist with drafting of agreements, negotiating and monitoring of contractual obligations;
  • develop and maintain appropriate project documentation, plans, schedules and reports; and
  • develop operational manuals, checklists, processes, templates, guidance materials, and promotional materials.
