About the role

The Student Experience and Administration Services (SEAS) Directorate oversees the provision of services across the whole student lifecycle from inquiry to graduation. The Senior Scholarships and Grants Officer is responsible for the provision and administration of scholarships and grants to eligible students.

About you

Reporting to the Coordinator, Selection and Scholarships you will understand scholarships and grants policies and procedures and systems with the ability to research, analyse and interpret information and data, including summarising and presenting information and statistical data to implement change and solve complex problems based on policies, procedures, and regulations.

You will:

  • coordinate and provide expert advice on scholarships and grants;
  • oversee the collection and entry of student records;
  • oversee tasks relating to the payment of scholarships and grants;
  • ensure ethical and professional standards are maintained; and
  • collate data and prepare reports.

Directions from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer require all Victorian-based Federation University workers to have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 22 October 2021 and to be fully vaccinated by 26 November 2021, unless they are an Excepted Person as defined by the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions. All applicants must therefore be able to comply with this requirement.
