About the role
Representing the Human Resources Directorate in the University’s growth agenda, you will be a valued member on a number of strategic growth projects in a horizontal and vertical-based model and provide advice and consultancy on organisational restructures, implementation of change initiatives and contribute to the strategic direction of the University.
You will lead and develop a team of Human Resources business partnering professionals to provide business engagement and partnering to an ambitious transformation agenda across the University, promoting a culture of continuous growth and development. You will also provide strategic business partnering services to senior executive members of staff and work collaboratively to ensure knowledge transfer and capability building within the Human Resources Directorate.
You will embed a true Human Resources partnering ethos and culture to enable the effective, consistent and proactive application and implementation of tailored solutions and initiatives in response to strategic priorities, emerging issues and change processes
You will be an experienced outcomes-focussed Manager with a reputation for delivering of agreed outcomes, having successfully introduced innovations around HR practices in a complex organisational setting. A skilled communicator and trusted advisor to all management levels, you are committed to equipping staff with the necessary capabilities and resources to successfully deal with a broad range of people-related matters which arise in all organisations.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience working in an organisation with vertical and horizontal project teams to achieve strategic priorities
- Extensive experience in providing strategic workforce and employee relations advice and consultancy services
- Proven experience providing expertise within an ambitious transformation agenda
- Exceptional liaison, negotiation and mediation skills
- Strong leadership and organisational resource management skills
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving capabilities
- Commercial acumen
