We are looking for sessional teachers to bring their knowledge into the classroom and teach TAFE programs at Langi Kal Kal prison in the area of Kitchen Operations.

You will be responsible for conducting assessments in kitchen operation programs, and developing innovative learning activities and assessment strategies to enhance quality teaching. You will also contribute to business processes, leadership, management and mentoring.

As the successful applicant, you will demonstrate the ability to research, select and use a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies to suit a diverse range of students. Current kitchen operation skills enabling you to prepare, deliver and administer vocational training and education programs in a variety of contexts are a key requirement of this position.

Rates of pay will vary according to the nature of the work undertaken. A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) will be required as well as a relevant industry qualification and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) (or equivalent).
