Full-time, fixed-term appointment for two years.
Are you an experienced plumber looking to be part of a community of committed and passionate staff and contributing to Vocational Education and Training. FedUni TAFE is looking for a passionate and driven teacher to join us at our Ballarat Campus.
You will deliver quality Vocational Education and Training including conducting assessments and developing of innovative learning activities and assessment strategies which enhance teaching in Plumbing. You will also contribute to business processes, leadership, management and mentoring.
Your current vocational skills and knowledge and your ability to adapt teaching and assessment strategies to suit a diverse range of students and cohorts, including those with disabilities and from disadvantaged groups will enable you to prepare and deliver quality Plumbing programs in a variety of contexts.
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) will be required as well as a relevant qualifications in line with the Australian Skills Quality Authority outlined below:
• Relevant vocational qualification; and
• A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the TAELLN411 (or its successor)/TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor)/TAEASS502A/TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.

The salary is within the TAFE Teacher L1.1 to L3.4 range $65,645 to $93,073 p.a. depending on qualifications and experience plus 9.5% superannuation.
