As the Community and Business Development Officer you will maintain relationships between the University, industry partners, the community, and students and increase engagement with host organisations and to give graduates a competitive edge with relevant practical experience within their chosen career, which will contributing to student retention and success. In addition, you will be responsible for program promotion and the provision of placement counselling and support to students before, during and after placement as well as monitoring and reporting, oversighting IPP scholarship conditions and facilitating career support.
As the successful applicant, you will have demonstrated experience working collaboratively with the business sector to create opportunities for student placements that meets University and Legislative requirements and academic learning outcomes. You will also have demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and record, professional working relationships and networks across broad stakeholder groups and achieve outcomes to maximise support and experiences for students.

Salary $76,801 to $82,898 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
Appointments will normally be at the base of the salary range.
