Full-time, fixed-term appointment for five years.

Providing range of pathways to enter the health industry the School of Nursing and Healthcare Professions assists students to become part of the diverse healthcare network with the opportunity for a rewarding career.

Offering a number of qualifications with an emphasis on best practice, independent and critical thinking, health advocacy and collaboration your role will provide leadership in the development and delivery of Public Health Informatics programs and courses at undergraduate and graduate levels including supervision of students undertaking project courses, honours and research higher degrees. You will also make an outstanding contribution to the School’s research program including high quality publications, successful grant applications, mentoring and leadership.

To be successful you will have a proven record in the development and implementation of innovative postgraduate programs, demonstrated evidence of high-quality teaching, including a national record of research and publications relevant to Public Health Informatics disciplines. A significant record of achievement in the supervision of honours, masters and doctoral students as well as a commitment and ability to develop and lead a student-centred approach with a focus on student success.

The salary is within the Academic Level D range $139,277 to $153,435 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
Appointments will normally be at the base of the salary range.
