Part-time (0.8), fixed-term appointment until December 2019.

An exciting opportunity has become available to become a part of a community of committed and passionate staff.

As the Lecturer, English Language Support and University Transition, you will provide leadership in teaching, developing, coordinating and moderating of English for Academic Purposes and Enabling/University Transition courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level . You will contribute to the School’s administrative functions and research program as well as participate in team projects.

You will have demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching and an excellent teaching record in English for Academic Purposes and Enabling/University Transition as well as demonstrated experience in leading curriculum development. A TESOL qualification or a qualififcation that contains TESOL as a method and appropriate TESOL treaching experience is a key requirement of this position.

The salary is within the Academic Level A6 to A8 range $83,565 to $89,701 (pro-rata) per annum plus superannuation.
Appointments will normally be at the base of the salary range.
