Campus Life is seeking motivated and service driven residential students to join the Campus Life team in 2019.

FedUni Living After-hours Support
Campus Life is seeking expressions of interest from residential students to support the residential community in an after-hours on call capacity throughout the year.

Duties may include:
• Provide regular support to residents during the evenings and the early hours of the morning as part of a roster;
• Respond to lock out calls or other calls for assistance from across campus;
• Conduct regular rounds and inspections of accommodation facilities, interacting with residents in addition to monitoring security and safety of buildings and surrounds;
• Perform various administrative and operational tasks such as key programming and issue, resource issuing and return, documenting incidents and other tasks as requested; and
• Keeps first aid kits on residence replenished.

As an After-hours Support casual, you will support the student residential community and other Campus Life guests.

Successful applicants will be required to participate in an after-hours duty roster and will receive an on call allowance for the times they are rostered for duty.

Rates of pay will vary according to the nature of the work undertaken.

FedUni Living International Student Support and Settlement
As an International Student Support and Settlement casual, you will be involved in a range of tasks including:
• Assisting with the organisation of airport collection, transfer and settlement of international students;
• Assisting with the preparation of student welcome packs, issuing of keys and assisting with transitioning international students to Campus Life; and
• Assisting to promote Federation University Australia in a variety of ways, including organising and attending events as a representative of FedUni Living.

We invite all 2019 returning residents who are looking for a new challenge to be key change makers in positively shaping our residential community and Campus Life operations.

A strong understanding of FedUni Living’s residential facilities with the ability to promote residence is required.

To be eligible to apply for the FedUni Living After-hours Support and International Student Support and Settlement casual positions, you need to hold the following qualifications:
• A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC);
• A current drivers licence;
• Current First Aid certification including updated CPR; and
• Mental Health First Aid.

Rates of pay will vary according to the nature of the work undertaken.

Swim Teachers and Lifeguards
UniSports is looking for qualified Swim Teachers and Lifeguards to join our team.

Learn to Swim classes run every weeknight as well as Saturday mornings, with School Programs operating throughout the day.

Duties include:
• Encouraging a fun and safe learning environment with a high standard of client interaction;
• Preparing for classes and carrying out administrative tasks including assessment in relation to our Swim and Survive Learn to Swim program;
• Ability to connect and build a strong rapport with students and providing feedback/teaching techniques to improve the students’ swim skills;
• Sound verbal communication skills are required to communicate with a range of students and customers.
To be eligible for the Swim Teacher and Lifeguard positions, you need to hold the following qualifications:
• AUSTSWIM accredited or Pool Lifeguard Qualifications;
• A valid Working with Children Check; and
• First Aid certification including updated CPR.

Rates of pay will vary according to the nature of the work undertaken.
